Stay away from this place!! The pizza and Italian beef sandwiches are not fresh and taste disgusting. I saw nothing but a bunch of young college age boys working there and all they did was screw around and it took forever for the food to be done. I warn people all of the time to just skip this place.I cringe everytime I have to pass this place on my way to Lovin Oven next door.

Great food. I'd like to give it a 5 star but they need to work on their management skills. Employees in the kitchen using filthy language that could clearly be heard out front even after being told by the manager to knock it off. Clowning around in the front customer area and the manager repeatedly apologizing to customers for it. Inexcusable behaviors or a restaurant or any retail establishment

Ordered for the first time and it is a good pizza, but it's also one of the most messiest, soggiest and uneven cut pizzas ever. Too much cheese is not a blessing and just becomes rubber as you chew. First impressions matter and will avoid this place or at least give thin crust a try maybe 2 years from now. Wasted $23 and that's what annoys me. I could have stuck with what I know and gotten another local pizza that was cheaper, made perfect and tastes better.

My husband has gone to get food from here twice & the food is such a disappointment. Got the chicken parmesan sandwich.. absolutely horrid. Way too much salt! Our pizza was under cooked. The second time we got pizza & my husband asked that the pizza be cooked about 10 mins longer.. clearly it wasnt bc it was still under cooked when we bit into it. Mostaccoli... super watered down past sauce & no type of flavor. Never going again. Straight up trash food.

This place has awesome service and delicious menu. The best spot around here. The food came out rapidly and the prices are economical. Will definitely recommend this place.

Its not better than portillos.. but good

Been ordering from here for a long time. Place changed recently and now it is aweful. Food quality has gone down. Orders are wrong and they just don't care.

Absolutely horrible!! used to like this place but since the real owner passed away this place has gone down hill. We ordered food for our family Christmas party this last sunday and 7 of my family members got sick with food poisoning and the manager was absolutely rude and refused to do anything about it. I wouldn't suggest eating here anymore!

One of the best Italian beefs

Good food if you don't mind waiting an hour. Ordered a sandwich and a ceasar to go, sat around for 45 minutes until my food finally got brought out. Other people there had been waiting just as long, and the poor girl who was taking orders kept hiding in the back for as long as she could because other customers kept asking where their food was (some more nicely than others). Food was good tho.

Love this place. Been getting their pizza and sandwich going back when they opened 20 years ago. Now they are open until 11:00. Yay.

My experience at Ron's Italian Oven DISAPPOINTED ME , Rochelle is a VERY DISRESPECTFUL woman she stuck her middle finger up at my mom and myself several times and she was yelling at us because they messed up our order for the first time my sister have been there previous times that week and ordered two sandwiches at least a day and she said that we complained and we didn't. Very bad customer service I'm about to call Better Business Bureau because I'm very upset

I remember going here when it was carry out only, now they’ve turned it into a real nice spot to watch a game or have a pizza with the family. Best pizza in the county! I always stop by whenever I’m in town

Totally unhappy. Large thin crust was soggy and sad, large Chicago Style was a ridiculously thick crust with cheese that wasn't even melted and a burned crust! For near $60 I would expect better. They offered to send 2 more pizzas and get them out as soon as they can, but at 6:30, I'm not waiting to feed my family for another hour. Competitors that cost half the price have better pizza and better customer service in my opinion. Ridiculously disappointing

I was curious to see what Italian ovens would be without the wonderful Ron and his lovely mother (mama Kay) and I can honestly say I am VERY impressed. The whole staff is wonderful including the new management! I don't think they could have chosen a better gentleman to take over. The foods still as amazing as ever and they never seem to disappoint! If you're looking for something extra delish on the menu I deff recommend you go for the spinach lasagna! THANK YOU RONS FOR NEVER DISAPPOINTING!(:

With a name like Italian Ovens I hoped the pizza would be good but was very disappointed. Very generic. A Frozen pizza would have been better.

This is THE BEST pizza places around. Been coming here for many years. All pizza and sandwiches are delicious! Note; do not confuse this Italian Ovens for the one in Grayslake. Italian Ovens Round Lake is the best.

Always great service. Great pasta and prices. Italian beef and Aus jus is delicious... could be a little more plentiful on the meat for the price, but still a great taste!

Ron's use to be our weekly go to. We've given them several tries in hopes that it was a learning curve for the new owners. Unfortunately, it's not. Italian beef bowl is 1/2 the size it was, the calzone had no filling, there is always a mistake with the pizza (not pie cut, not well done, wrong ingredients), the garlic bread is chewy, and the food is inconsistent. To top it all off, there was a piece of shaved metal in my chicken parmesan.

Great bartender today. Previously had bad customer service from other bartenders. Good food for dine in. Recently ordered food to go, not too good. French fries were nothing but a big ball of fried potatoes for they were smashed into box. Cashier stated that food is no longer put in bags as previous owners did, so that is why my fries ended up in a ball. She also stated that the box was secure due to being stapled...6 times, which I ended up getting cut on. When I asked for a bag, it seemed that I was committing a crime...I guess I will need to carry a to go bag with me

Pizza is very good and my favorite pasta are the ravioli. Prices are convenient.

The thin crust pizza here is amazing, the sausage on the pizza is probably the best I’ve ever had. Their beef sandwiches are very tasty and reasonably priced. The place is clean with friendly and inviting staff.

We use to be huge Ron's fans and then everything changed. The Italian beef is much smaller than it use to be, the calzone is smaller and there's next to no filling in it. And only one time have they actually gotten our pizza well done. Tonight's crust was actually really soggy, not well done or crisp. We really wanted to like Ron's because we enjoyed going in there once a week for a few drinks and dinner.i can say that the mozzarella sticks are still the best.

Rons italain ovens made my whole family sick with food poisoning. Never again. Ruined my whole family's Christmas. Take your chances they are only concerned about their gambling operation.

Love this place! We have been ordering from them for over 2 years and the food is consistent- always delicious and they never mess up an order. The customer service is also very impressive, and every time we order the woman taking the order is friendly, professional and happy. We also love our delivery driver, Bob! He’s the best and so nice. If I could give more stars I would!

Definitely a spot worth stopping by, the food is great and fresh, the cost is reasonable and it is always neat here. Fantastic work.
